Our Adoption Story

We intially created this website to update family and friends about our journey to adopting a baby from Taiwan. We traveled to Taiwan in December 2005 and brought home our wonderful baby boy, William Ke-Fan. The blog has been such a hit with family and friends that we have decided to continue it.

Chinese Outfit and Dragon Mask



We bought this outfit for William when we were in Taiwan. I have always thought the colors were odd until Allen pointed out that they are colors from the Taiwan flag.

For the Chinese New Year, William and I made a dragon mask. I received this link from one of my yahoo chat groups:

We had a lot of fun making the mask and William loves to shake it. Notice the bells that we glued around the outside of the mask.

Beautiful! Thanks for the pictures - I can't believe how William has grown since last summer.

I noticed that the pattern came from the school district/library where I taught last year (the library is run out of the KCK school district). It's a big, small world!
