Our Adoption Story

We intially created this website to update family and friends about our journey to adopting a baby from Taiwan. We traveled to Taiwan in December 2005 and brought home our wonderful baby boy, William Ke-Fan. The blog has been such a hit with family and friends that we have decided to continue it.

July & August Pictures

Yay! We received more pictures in the mail this week. The first two pictures were taken when William was 2 months old. Doesn't he look like he's talking to us? We think he is saying, "Mommy and Daddy, come bring me home!" Of course, it's probably the Chinese equivalent.

In the last two pictures, he was a little over 2 1/2 months old. He really has stretched out! We were fortunate to have some medical information this time. The week before these last pictures were taken, he weighed 11 lbs and was 22.4 in long. Apparently, he has had a growth spurt, moving him from the 10th percentile to the 25th percentile. Our doctor says that he is doing great.

It's amazing how quickly William changes. He looks so different in every set of pictures that we receive. We feel so lucky to get our updates. So far, the orphanage has promptly sent them every 4 weeks. Our agency is wonderful to get them in the mail right away.
