Getting to Know Our New Son

William didn't say a word all the way back to the apartment. He fell asleep pretty soon after we got on the MRT. Poor baby was overwhelmed by the stimulation. He slept for quite a while. Later that evening, we let him play on a blanket on the floor. He started talking to us (up to this point, he had been silent). We were surprised to see him roll over and then sit up all of a sudden. It turns out that this little peanut is very mobile! He is able to creep and crawl to get to toys or people that are outside of his reach.

William is such a good-natured baby. He has slept through the night the last two nights and takes several naps during the day. He is getting over a cold so the Cathwel staff gave us two medications to give to him. Good thing Angela's mom can read the instructions. He is also teething so he gets a little fussy every once in a while. Fortunately, we thought to bring orajel and teething toys with us.

We are all very tired, but are really enjoying the newest member of our family.
