It's finally here

Well, we are leaving today. We managed to get everything packed, but were up pretty late last night doing this. We'll stay in Houston tonight and then begin the long part of our trip bright and early tomorrow morning. We hope we won't be too excited to sleep tonight. This may be the last chance that we have to get a good night's sleep for quite a while!

We found out yesterday that our final civil ruling was issued. This is the last step in the court process. Apparently, this happened a little earlier than our agency or the orphanage expected. So, they are going to try to move up our AIT (similar to a US consulate) appointment so that we can get Will's visa before we head south to visit family. That will mean that we can possibly spend more time in Tainan and Taichung before we head back to Taipei.

We'll get to Taipei Monday evening (Monday morning here). So, we'll try to post again sometime after that.
