Ranch Center and The County Fair
I am behind in posting pictures from the last month or two. These were taken in late September.
We went to a Ranch center with our local international adoption group. It has examples of different styles of ranch houses that were built in this area. William was too young to really enjoy the exhibits for the most part, but we did have fun talking with the other families and eating a picnic lunch. There are many jackrabbits that live at the center. William had fun watching the older kids chase after them.
I also took William to the county fair. We met up with a friend of mine and her family. Their daughter, Aly, is 3 weeks younger than William. We went through the different animal buildings (rabbits, cows, lambs) and stopped at the petting zoo, where we saw goats, chickens, lambs, baby chicks and ducklings, horses and cows.
We walked through the 4-H produce display. William and Aly had a great time playing with the huge pumpkins.
