Summer Days

We are having lots of fun with William this summer. He loves playing outdoors. Every time we let the dog out, William wants to go outside and play. He loves to run around and play with pine cones, leaves, and pretty much anything else you can find in nature.

Since William really enjoys playing in the pets' water bowl and taking a bath, we thought that he might like a wading pool. So, we brought one home and he had a blast. He even likes to play in it when it's empty.

William loves helping his Daddy with outdoor projects. Here they are planting some red-tip photinias (bushes) in the back yard.

We took William to a park and he had a lot of fun running around. He liked the swings for the first few minutes and then started crying because he wanted to get out.

He wasn't too sure about the slide. Maybe we'll have better luck when he's a little older.

We have tried to get William to wear hats, especially when he's outside in the sun. Up until recently, he wanted nothing to do with them. About a month ago, he started bringing his hat up to me to put it on him. Now, he'll wear it for 5 or 10 minutes at a time. Don't they look cute?!
