Our Adoption Story

We intially created this website to update family and friends about our journey to adopting a baby from Taiwan. We traveled to Taiwan in December 2005 and brought home our wonderful baby boy, William Ke-Fan. The blog has been such a hit with family and friends that we have decided to continue it.

Baby's First Haircut

As you can see from previous pictures, William's hair was getting pretty shaggy and a little on the long side. So, we took him to get his first haircut yesterday. I was surprised that he didn't cry at all. He was very skirmy and did not really want to sit in the chair. I ended up holding him for the majority of the time.

The whole thing went very quickly. It took about 5 or 10 minutes, which was good because I don't think I could have held on to William for much longer than that. I had initially thought about trying to cut his hair myself, but I am glad that I took him to a professional after seeing how much of a fight he put up.

This "after" picture is a little blurry, but it's the only one that we have so far. We think William's new haircut makes him look like a little boy now instead of a baby.
