Meeting Grandma, Granddad, and the Cats
Allen's parents took care of our cats while we were gone and they brought them home. So, William met Dodger, Oreo, and Ciel (pronounced see-elle) for the first time. He was very interested in the kitties and tried chasing after them. He isn't fast enough at crawling to actually catch them...YET...
Dodger's the only one brave enough to let William get close. Oreo and Ciel pretty much steered clear of him. William will have plenty of time to get acquainted with Oreo, but it will be a while before he sees Ciel again. She went back home with Allen's parents. We decided over Thanksgiving that she would be happier in a one-kitty home.
Grandma and Granddad brought presents with them, including some really neat toys from Mrs. Kelly and a beautiful Animal Tales book from Ms. Giblin. William loves playing with his new toys and is fascinated by the colorful pages of his new book.
We took lots of pictures. Here are some of them.

Hi, We have enjoyed following your story of adopting your precious little William. Your Mom, Allen, has kept us informed. Hopefully you remember me...your first cousin (though much older!), Darlene (my Mom was Kathryn). You probably remember Billy and maybe our other son Darryn. They are both adopted and were 12 months and 11 months old respectively when they came into our home. We know the joy and are so excited for you both. Would love to see all of you. We live in McAllen.
