Learning to Walk, Talk, and So Much More
William has also added to his vocabulary. He can now say hi, bye-bye, uh-oh (one of our personal favorites), and bath. He has started saying Mama again and usually says Daddy now instead of Dada. These words are in addition to the others that he had before: Dada, doggie, and kitty. He even has a sentence: Hi Daddy. Of course, most people might not be able to understand all of his words, but we are very proud of him none-the-less.
We have been working on a few baby signs. William has two signs that he does: bottle and more. It took us a while to figure out what he meant by his "more" sign since it was not the same as what we were showing him. He can also wave hi and bye.
We recently learned that William loves music. We play CDs with children's songs on them and he likes to clap his hands. When we stop, he does the sign for "more". One of his favorite songs is "If You're Happy and You Know It". He also likes to play the piano with his Daddy. Today, he actually learned how to play one key at a time. Then he went back to banging away with his hands. He loves sheet music. My theory is that it is another book to him and boy does he love books!
